Bora Router Dado Jig

Companion to the Bora WTX Modular Clamp Edge this accessory allows you to make straight accurate dados and rabbets working with almost all wood routers. Easy handling is assured with the large base plate keeping the router steady.

You can feel confident in producing tight fitting dados even with undersized plywood or board lumber. For example, when cutting a 23/32" dado use a 1/2" router bit, placing the material in the adjustment guide and set the outer edge, remove the material and make your first cut. When complete return the adjustment guide back to position and make the second cut, the opposite edge.

No drilling or bolting the wood router to the plate is required as the tool is mounted using a standard 1' guide bushing. Works with both the WTX and NTX Bora Clamp Edges.

Side to side sway of router is eliminated by the adjustments screws located on the base plate side opposite the router.

The Bora Router Dado Jig is part of the Bora WTX system which includes the Bora Saw Plate, Track Clamps, Jig Saw Guide, and Rip Guide.

This product is not designed to work with palm routers. Do not lift the router off the base plate while motor is running. This will remove the guide bushing allowing the bit to cut the plastic base. Can be used with fixed base routers but you may prefer to use a plunge base router to insure ease of use.
